Top Scots playwright Peter Arnott believes Scottish politics will never be the same again, following the stunning victory of the SNP in Scotland earlier this month.
Arnott believes that the other parties will have to re-assemble and change drastically if they are to provide an effective opposition to the SNP as it continues to dominate the Scottish Parliament, and now Scottish representation at Westminster, where it holds 56 of the country’s 59 seats.
* Note: Peter’s interview took place shortly before the weekend announcement by ex-MP Jim Murphy of his intention to stand down as Labour’s Scottish leader next month.
