Derek Bateman’s post election discussion continues, with the arrival of Professor John Robertson of the University of West of Scotland, best known for his analysis of TV News and its coverage of Scottish politics during the referendum and this year’s general election.
The Professor joined CommonSpace editor Angela Haggerty and Scot Goes Pop writer James Kelly as they continued to discuss the fall-out from that remarkable election campaign which resulted in the SNP take 56 of Scotland’s 59 Westminster parliamentary seats.
Immediately before recording, party leaders Ed Miliband, Nick Clegg and Nigel Farage had all announced their resignations following their respective parties’ disastrous results.
Bateman Broadcasting offers a unique perspective. Our interview-led approach adds real value and lively content to Scottish political debate.
